[2678] SPEAKER_20: The state gave us those tests for students, for every student in the district, two tests. But they have not indicated that they will be giving out more. It's possible, but they have not given us any indication of that. I do know that the federal government is giving out kits. So my wife ordered some online last night, I guess, from the federal government, and every individual in the country can receive kits in the mail from the federal government.

So if the parent is positive, and the child tests negative, they do not have symptoms, and the children are fully vaccinated, then they can continue to come to school as long as they are the parents are fully isolated from the kids. If the children are not fully vaccinated, then they will have to quarantine.

So if a Spanish-speaking parent wants to leave a message or communicate with the high school, they can call the regular number. The Spanish-speaking number is no longer necessary nor in operation. So they should just call the regular number, and there is a staff member that will be transferred that speaks Spanish.

[3413] SPEAKER_27: This was something that we realized, we were told and we were told last week that you can't leave a voice mail on high school phones. What we communicate with the principal and what she informed us is that she already has a person available in the office who speaks Spanish. So if the child is quarantining at home, standard quarantine is 10 days, but if the child has no symptoms and wants to come back earlier than 10 days, they can take a test on day five after last exposure. And if the results of the test is negative, they can come back on day six. Yeah, so if the child wants to do a full 10 day quarantine, they can come back on day 11 without taking a test.

[3639] SPEAKER_20: So they can't be counted present because they weren't there, but they can, the absence is excused if the parent notifies the school that it was due to COVID.
